Ella, picturesque hamlet nestled amidst the mountain peaks of the Bandarawela district is already a popular tourist destination listed in the "Lonely Planet Guide" on Sri Lanka. Almost every tourist that visits the area doesn’t miss out on the opportunity to tour our tea factory, for it has won its fame as the largest tea factory in Sri Lanka's Uva region.
In addition to the breathtaking scenery of the Little Adam’s Peak, our factory premises offer you an opportunity to experience a guided tour of a tea factory par excellence.
Our tea factory is perched on a mountain of 2km in height, surrounded by nature at its very best. At our factory you will get to learn everything you need to know about Ceylon tea, while witnessing the step-by-step process of the manufacturing process, followed by a tea tasting session at our sky café; where you will get to experience the wonder of different flavours of tea, while gazing at the panoramic views from our factory. Tourists also have the opportunity to purchase factory-fresh teas during their visits.

A very interesting tour; we’ve been drinking tea for years without knowing how it’s made. Having seen the quality tea that’s produced, and the dust reserved for tea bags, this might be the end of our tea bag buying! Thank you very much.Client Note

A fascinating tour into the process of producing my favourite tea- Orange Pekoe, in its different grades. Beautiful views from the factory.Client Note
Enjoyed my staying and learnt many things about tea. The guide and staff were friendly. I feel invited. The tea tasting didn’t come easy to me. But now I know how to sense good quality.Client Note
